Born in Belém do Pará, the heart of Amazon Forest, and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Thayse Viégas is the founder and curator of Casa Canvas. Since her childhood, she has cultivated a love for aesthetic and creativity. In 2008, she graduated in Cinema at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and while working in the film industry, she has discovered her interest for design. This new passion has made her move to Milan where she got her master in Fashion Buying at Istituto Marangoni. For her final project, Thayse had to create an imaginary concept store that has been brought to live five years later with Casa Canvas. Her own and democratic window where she showcases furniture and objects with an innovative approach to celebrate art, design and good taste.
